To meet the growing needs of sniper teams and special ops forces around the world, FLIR Systems continues to develop industry leading technology through the use of infrared and image intensified (I²) technologies, and are among the first to combine the two. FLIR's family of soldier solutions is comprised of tactical sensors that Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, Coastguardsmen and Airmen depend upon for total target awareness. FLIR provides a wide range of portable, durable and long-range capable systems, from lightweight surveillance monoculars and binoculars to weapon sights. More than 1,600 binocular sensors from the Recon III family, and 400 HISS and other weapon sights have been delivered. These systems aid in missions while increasing safety and efficiency and decreasing the soldier's overall load.
