With proven technologies for long-range reconnaissance, surveillance and target acquisition (RSTA), situational awareness, driver's vision, remote weapon sighting, commander and gunner targeting sights and dismounted sensors, FLIR Systems provides a one-stop shop to outfit vehicles with reliable EO/IR systems for the harshest environments. Recently, the DoD has contracted FLIR to provide them with the TALON sensor to support the Long Range Ground Mobility Visual Augmentation Systems (LR-GMVAS) program by providing ground vehicles with a stabilized, all-weather and day/night thermal imaging capability. The systems also support European platforms including the Cougar, Patria NEMO, Piranha IV, RG-31/33, Eagle IV, Leopard MBT and the CV90120 Armored Fighting Vehicle.
